 This is actually very similar to the corn syrup recipe!

There are two methods:

Method 1:

1. For every two parts sugar, you need one part water. So for 2 cups of sugar, you need one cup of water.

2. Bring sugar and water to a boil, lower the heat and keep boiling for 5-7 minutes, until thesyrup is clear.

Method 2:

1. For every kilo sugar, use 4 cups of water

2. put in a pot and add 1 gram of lemon or citric acid, or cream of tartar, or ascorbic acid.

3. Bring to a boil until all the sugar has melted, for about 20 minutes
